About IV therapy: when you are suffering from chronic illness, digestive concerns or stress, the body is not always able to produce the energy required to heal itself. Taking oral supplements are not enough at this point since your stomach and intestines can’t absorb nutrients at a high enough concentration to allow your body to absorb them without significant effort. This is when IV treatments help.

With IV treatments, nutrients are delivered directly into the bloodstream. This creates a concentration gradient that allows nutrients to be delivered to the cells passively, with little or no effort from the body. Eventually, as your body heals and gains back its strength, your cells regain their ability to actively absorb vitamins and minerals and IV treatments are no longer necessary.

Naturopathic IV treatments can support a variety of conditions including: fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic stress/burnout, fibromyalgia, sleep disorders, headaches/migraines, decreased immune function, frequent infections, digestive concerns, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's Disease, detoxification, dehydration, athletic/muscle recovery, cancer.

Holistic nutritionists consider a whole food diet, free of artificial additives, preservatives, GMO and hard to pronounce ingredients, as the most appropriate fuel for our body. Sage’s nutritional programs are highly individualized based on our belief that no diet is appropriate for everyone. With keeping your unique biochemistry in mind, we tailor a specific plan for you that is based on your eating and lifestyle habits. To identify your internal imbalances, food sensitivity, stressor testing, live blood cell analysis or other testing may be offered as part of your nutritional program.

Prenatal massage is a specialized form of massage therapy designed for pregnant women. It aims to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and promote overall well-being. It is important to seek out a massage therapist who is experienced in prenatal massage to ensure that the treatment is tailored to the specific needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies.
There are several benefits of prenatal massage for expectant mothers:
Reduction of Muscle Tension and Pain: Pregnancy can cause discomfort due to increased weight and changes in posture. Massage can help alleviate muscle tension and pain, particularly in areas like the lower back, neck, hips, and legs.
Improved Circulation: Prenatal massage can enhance blood circulation, benefiting both the mother and the baby. Better circulation can help reduce swelling in the extremities and can provide more nutrients to the fetus.
Stress and Anxiety Reduction: Pregnancy can be emotionally challenging. Massage therapy can promote relaxation by releasing endorphins and reducing stress hormones like cortisol.
Better Sleep Quality: Many pregnant women struggle with insomnia. Prenatal massage can help improve sleep patterns by relaxing tense muscles and promoting a sense of well-being.
Preparation for Labor: Some studies suggest that regular prenatal massage can help prepare the body for labor by improving muscle tone and flexibility.
Alleviation of Edema: Swelling, or edema, is common during pregnancy, especially in the legs and feet. Massage can help reduce fluid retention and swelling by improving circulation and lymphatic drainage.
Relief from Headaches: Hormonal changes during pregnancy can lead to frequent headaches. Massage therapy can help alleviate tension headaches and migraines by reducing muscle tension and promoting relaxation.

Some benefits you may experience include:
Sensory Stimulation: Gentle touch during a massage stimulates the baby or toddler’s sensory pathways, helping to develop their sense of touch, proprioception (awareness of their body in space), and overall body awareness.
Relaxation and Stress Reduction: Massage can help babies and toddlers relax by promoting the release of oxytocin (the “love hormone”) and reducing levels of cortisol (the stress hormone). This may lead to improved sleep patterns, reduced restlessness, and less irritability.
Promotion of Digestion: For babies especially, gentle abdominal massage can aid in digestion and alleviate discomfort from gas or constipation. It can help regulate bowel movements and reduce colic symptoms.
Support for Physical Development: Massaging can contribute to the development of muscle tone and coordination. For toddlers, it may also help improve flexibility and joint mobility.
Boosting the Immune System: Some studies suggest that regular massage may help enhance the immune system function in babies and toddlers, potentially reducing the frequency of illnesses.
Emotional Well-being: Regular massage can contribute to a child’s overall emotional well-being by promoting a positive mood, reducing anxiety, and enhancing self-esteem.
Our therapist can offer suggestions on how you can continue the treatment at home to maintain these benefits.

Hello there, my name is Elizabeth. I am a Christian, a cis-gendered woman, an immigrant who is incredibly grateful to now call Canada home. I am a proud mama of 4 beautiful children and our crew ranged from University to preschool. I am passionate about supporting women and couples struggling with infertility because I have been there and I know the importance of having the right support when we are going through a difficult season in life. I work from a trauma informed stance because I acknowledged that (although unfortunately) most of us have encountered trauma in our lives. I seek to create a safe harbour for my clients and I honour the vulnerability and the resilience it takes for people to tell their stories, resolve past trauma, examine unhelpful thinking style in their lives and move towards healing. This quote by Brene Brown “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to” captures the essence of my work with people. I strive to be your ally and I bring my whole self to the room to help you lean in mindfully, do the necessary work and emerge as your best self. Treatment focus: Infertility|Fertility Support, Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Postpartum Depression and difficulties, Couple’s work, Conflict management, Stress and Behavioral Management, Addiction Recovery and Life Transitions. I offer both Christian (using scriptures in conjunction with evidence based modality) and Secular counseling. I am trained in Traumatology and other therapy models. However, I use an Eclectic Therapy Approach in ways that best meet the needs of my clients. I will be honoured to hold the space for you, bring my best self to work with you as you journey through whatever this season holds for you. You can book a complimentary 15 minutes session for us to meet either virtually or in-person. I have some mornings, evenings and weekend appointments. I look forward to meeting you.
